Ho Chi Minh City Blending (Dec 9-13, 2009)

Who we are
We are a group of young Christians who are now pursuing our tertiary education. We come from three different universities, namely, National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and Singapore Management University (SMU). We also have some students who are from the Polytechnics, as well as others currently fulfilling their National Service.

Where we meet
Tuesday 8pm:1. Sisters’ house
2. Brothers’ house
In this time we exercise our priestly function to pray for the Lord’s interest on the earth.

Saturday 7pm:1. Sisters’ house
2. Brothers’ house
Once a month we have a gospel harvest while the rest of the weeks are sessions for us to enjoy mutual fellowship around God’s Word. We usually have dinner 7-8 pm, followed by the meeting 8-9:30 pm.

Lord’s Day 10am:Sisters’ house
At this time we gather together to break bread to remember the Lord and to worship the Father. Afterwards, we speak Christ to one another based on the nourishment and enlightenment we have received from the Word of God during the week.

Activities
Weekly Pursuit:The Holy Word for Morning Revival is the main material for our weekly pursuit. We supplement this pursuit with Life-study messages and other ministry publications.

Verse Memorization:A schedule is given at the beginning of each school term to encourage us to memorize a verse from the Bible each day.

Annual Events:Every May we have a “Campus Camp.” In the past two camps we received much blessing from the Lord for both our individual spiritual life and the corporate practice of the church life. During these camps there are also gospel sessions for the ministering of Christ to our unbelieving friends. Lastly, every December we visit a full-time training centre with a view that we would be stirred up to consecrate ourselves and our future to the Lord, including attending the full-time training after we graduate.
